The birth of hybrid Cars improved fuel efficiency.
Actually there is a way to improve fuel efficiency of hybrid cars dramatically.That is to learn a few driving technics. For example, when you start a car slowly and do not use engine but motor, once the car gains some speed, remove your foot from accelerator once and then press it down gradually.
In order to enlighten people all over Japan on these technics, we launched “ECO-DRIVE” campaign.
This was not CSR but a promotion.

IMAGINE. ECO-DRIVE is an online content that you can interactively experience accelerator control as well as imagination of a driver.

Together with TV commercials, it has increased publicity of a word “ECODORA (ECO-DRIVING)”.
We have also held eco-driving contests at various places in Japan.
The more “ECODORA” is recognised, the more users can save money and less CO2 is produced.
